A new look, a new efficiency
The restyling of the SM50 and SM60 deburring machine is not limited to a simple aesthetic update; we have carried out a complete design renewal, giving the machine a more modern and attractive look. Our customers, in particular the owners of old Salmoiraghi and Stefani deburring machines, will be able to appreciate the technical innovations that further improve a machine that has already been appreciated for years.

- Grinding wheel spindles "never again without" for express maintenance: The new cartridge system of the grinding spindles greatly simplifies maintenance and overhaul operations, reducing machine downtime. Changing spindles is now an intuitive and quick operation: all you need is a spare spindle on hand, to immediately restore the full functionality of your deburring machine
- Quick and intuitive speed change: Thanks to a simpler and faster system, the replacement of the belts for the speed change can be done in a few minutes, thus optimizing the working time
- Accidental damage-proof push-button panels: The new position of the push-button panels, located at the top of the machine, protects them from any accidental damage, ensuring greater safety and durability
- Aluminium table lift handwheels: Small details that make the difference, designed to withstand even the most intense stresses, shocks and daily wear and tear

The two independent 4 kW motors guarantee uninterrupted operation 24/7, while the 500 mm or 600 mm diameter grinding wheels offer exceptional cutting power.
The SM50 and SM60 independent grinding wheel deburring machine is the perfect solution for foundries and metal deburring departments. It is able to remove sprues, risers, casting attachments and excess burrs in the casting joints, ensuring a homogeneous and precise finish.

- Peripheral speed: The deburring machine is available in the SM50 version, compatible with 500 mm diameter grinding wheels, and in the SM60 version, for 600 mm diameter grinding wheels. The SM50 deburring machine offers a peripheral speed of 33 m/s, 50 m/s or 60 m/s with a new grinding wheel, while the SM60 deburring machine achieves a peripheral speed of 60 m/s with a new grinding wheel
- Wheelbase: The 1320 mm wheelbase allows you to work on medium-sized workpieces and increase productivity thanks to the use of two operators at the same time
- Internal motors and belt adjustment: The motors are easily accessible for easy and precise adjustment of the belts and simplified maintenance
- Oversized locking flanges: Ensure maximum operational safety and long service life
- Safety guards: Complete with suction connection, they ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Independent control panels: For precise and intuitive control of each grinding wheel
- Height-adjustable workpiece support plate (optional): Allows the user to always work at the centre of the grinding wheel on workpieces of different sizes and angles
- Guaranteed safety: Safety devices installed on both wheels prevent speed changes when not permitted, ensuring maximum operator protection. But how does the safety device work? When the grinding wheel is new (500 mm or 600 mm depending on the model), the spindle shaft rotation corresponds to 33 m/s, 50 m/s or 60 m/second depending on the deburring machine model chosen. With use, the grinding wheel wears out and its diameter decreases, reducing peripheral speed and abrasion efficiency. By reaching a predefined diameter, it is possible to move the belts to the higher speed, thereby increasing the number of revolutions of the spindle shaft and obtaining again the peripheral speed necessary for optimal use of the machine and the restoration of a suitable cutting speed.
- Maximum efficiency: The two rotation speeds allow you to maintain the right peripheral speed of cutting the wheels, which is essential for maximum performance of the wheels themselves with a consequent increase in production and reduced costs
